Why the tools are free
Most online tools ask you to sign up before you can download the thing you just made, or cap your exports until you pay. Toolzen does the work in your browser and hands you the file. That is the whole product.
Ads cover part of the hosting. They do not cover the build time, and adding more of them would make the tools worse to use. Support fills that gap.
Where support goes
Hosting and bandwidth. File-heavy tools like the image compressor and the PDF signer are not cheap to serve.
New tools. Every coffee buys build time for the next one on the list.
Keeping the current ones correct. Browser APIs shift, rate tables change, and accuracy bugs get fixed first.
Fewer ads, not more. The more support covers, the less ad inventory the tools need to carry.
