Toolzen is a family of free, browser-based tools built by Dot2Shape. This page explains, in plain language, what data is involved when you use toolzen.app and its tools (SecurePass, WordWise, Compresso, Stampo, PawAge) and blog.
Our tools do the actual work — generating passwords, counting words, compressing images, creating signatures, calculating pet ages — entirely in your browser. Your passwords, text, and images are never uploaded to our servers or anyone else's. There are no accounts and nothing to sign up for.
localStorage). It never leaves your device.Toolzen is supported by advertising. When ads are active, Google AdSense and its advertising partners may use cookies and similar technologies to serve ads based on your visits to this and other sites, and to measure ad performance.
Each of these providers has its own privacy policy governing how it handles data; we don't control their practices beyond what's described here.
Toolzen is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we'll remove it.
Depending on where you live (for example under GDPR or CCPA), you may have the right to request access to, correction of, or deletion of any data associated with you. Since we don't run accounts or store personal profiles, there's typically nothing to delete beyond what's described above — but if you have a specific request, email us and we'll respond.
The site is served entirely over HTTPS. Because our tools process everything client-side and we don't operate user accounts, there are no passwords or personal files stored on our servers to protect in the first place.
We may update this page as Toolzen grows — for example when a new tool launches or our advertising setup changes. The "last updated" date at the top will always reflect the latest version.
